I came into my artistic experience as an adult. Because of this,
I view my artistic abilities as a gift; something special given to me
from God whom I love; something to be cherished and nurtured.
I love nature and all natural forms. I am fascinated by the ocean
and the beaches in my island home of Trinidad and Tobago and
seek to share what I am privileged to experience daily with the
world.
It is through this fascination, that I'm also drawn, even further, into a
love relationship with God.
My style is largely Impressionistic. Although I paint in studio,
I am captivated by the experience of painting outdoors en plein aire.
I enjoy experimenting with different media. I believe
that even as I specialise in my chosen area that i should not limit myself
doggedly to it so I also sculpt and explore pastels and watercolours. My
desire is to take what I have learnt and stretch and it to its very
lengths and depths; as I grow and mature as a professional artist.
